Haluk Sargın, born in Ankara, received license degree in METU Department of Chemistry, had masters’ degree in Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy and completed his specialty in medicine in Ankara Numune Education and Research Hospital Clinical Biochemistry Department. He worked with many government and private institutions. He published many essays regarding his profession in many national and international scientific journals.
He met photography with the camera his dad bought him in middle school as a token of achievement. He made slide shows and participated in many combined exhibits. His works were exhibited and rewarded in many national and international contests. His articles and photos were published in competition catalogues and a variety of journals.
He opened his photo exhibit “Holding on to Life” with Hilmi Uysal. This study was later published as a book. He published a historical-archeological photo-based book “Ancient Ankara” in 2004, and in 2006 he published a photo book named “Old Live Ankara houses”. In 2012, second edition of “Ancient Ankara” was published.
